In 2026, I launched a monthly generative writing group called Kidlit ALL/Write. We have grown to more than 75 members, and we're happy to welcome more. We meet on Zoom each month to write in community for 30-40 minutes then open the floor for volunteer readers, followed by Q&A. The vibe of ALL/Write (as in, we all write together) is creative, dynamic, fun, and supportive. The group is open to members at all levels, from published authors to new writers. All are welcome, with one stipulation: You must write for children and/or young adults.
Writing can be a lonely business. This group is designed to serve as your community. In addition to our monthly meetups, you will also have access to a SLACK channel, where we discuss craft, make book recommendations, talk about our manuscripts, and provide support. I often respond to questions about craft and/or the publishing on SLACK.

Here's a peek at our SLACK Channel, which I'm very proud of! You have access to SLACK after registering for one meetup.
I believe strongly that all writers should have the opportunity to hone their craft, even if they don't have the resources to pursue an MFA, travel to conferences, or register for workshops. That's why Kidlit ALL/Write attendance and/or membership is offered through tiered pricing. Pay what you can afford, starting at $7/month.
Building community is one of my favorite things to do as an author. I'd love for you to join us. :) Happy writing.
